Mark a conversation as unread to remind yourself to come back to it.
Before you start
You can only mark open conversations as unread, not resolved ones.
Steps
From the conversation you have open
Open the conversation.
Click the envelope button (Mark unread) at the top right, next to Resolve.
From the list
Point at a conversation in the list that you have already read. (The button doesn't show on the conversation you have open. Use the one at the top instead.)
Click the envelope button (Mark unread) on the row.
What happens next
The conversation shows in bold with an unread count again.
The unread counts on the Mine or All tab and on Messenger in the left menu go up by one.
If you marked the conversation you are reading, it stays unread while you stay on it.
It is marked read again the next time you open it.
Common questions
Does marking unread change anything for my teammates?
Yes. The unread mark is on the conversation, so teammates who can see it also see it as unread. When anyone opens it, it is marked read for everyone.
Does the contact see anything?
No. Nothing is sent to the contact.
